Code of Conduct

1) Principles of Employee Conduct

Respect and respect:

Every employee should treat all colleagues with respect, regardless of their position or opinions. All employees are equal in terms of their rights and should be evaluated fairly and impartially on the basis of their performance and attitude.
Accountability and reliability:

Every employee is responsible for their actions. Admitting mistakes openly and being willing to learn from them is key to professional growth and effective collaboration. At the same time, it is essential to fulfil your commitments in a timely and consistent manner.
Open and transparent communication:

Employees should communicate clearly and openly. Conflicts should be resolved constructively and without prejudice.
Teamwork:

Mutual support, cooperation and information sharing are essential to achieving common goals.

2) Compliance with laws and internal regulations:

Every employee and company within the RKO GROUP must comply with applicable laws and internal regulations, both internally and in dealings with business partners and other cooperating entities. Any violation of the law or company regulations may result in disciplinary action being taken, and in extreme cases may even lead to the termination of employment or the dissolution of business ties. The RKO Group ensures that employees and business partners have access to relevant information on important rules and regulations, and promotes ongoing training for all parties involved.

3) Protecting confidential information and maintaining privacy

Employees must protect the personal information of colleagues, business partners, and customers and handle it in accordance with legal regulations only. Likewise, they must protect the company’s confidential information and must not use it for personal purposes or for the benefit of third parties.

4) Use of company assets and resources

Employees are responsible for the efficient and economical use of company resources. Any unauthorised use of company property for private purposes without prior approval is unacceptable.

5) Relations with business partners

Employees must always maintain a professional attitude and impartiality when dealing with business partners. When carrying out their activities, they must ensure that their conduct is transparent and does not raise suspicions of unethical behaviour.

6) Improper Conduct and Abuse of Position

Employees shall not abuse their position, knowledge, or confidential information for personal gain or the benefit of third parties. Accepting gifts, favors, or other benefits is only allowed if they are small, customary gifts or gestures in line with standard business practices (e.g., Christmas gifts), and do not affect the employee’s objectivity or professional decision-making. Any gifts that could influence or raise suspicion of influencing the decision-making process are prohibited.

7) Maintaining order and ecological behaviour

Every employee is responsible for keeping their work environment clean and observing ecological principles.

8) Identification of ethical issues and whistleblower protection

Employees and others working with the company must identify ethical issues and report them promptly to the relevant persons or authorities, in accordance with applicable laws. The RKO Group guarantees that whistleblowers will be protected from any retaliation and promotes the creation of a safe environment in which ethical issues can be openly addressed. The company may use an internal whistleblowing system established in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (Act No. 171/2023 Coll., as amended). Details of this system and the whistleblowing rules are published on the company intranet.
